How to Play
Welcome to Player of the Day! The goal of the game is to guess a FIFA World Cup 2026 player using the clues provided. Here is how to play:
- Search: Type a player's name in the search field. A list of suggestions will automatically appear after 2 characters.

Clues: After selecting a player, you will receive clues to help you find the correct player. The clues include:
- Position: The player's position (Goalkeeper, Centre-Back, Midfielder, Striker, etc.)
- Age: The player's age
- Nationality: Country of origin
- Club: Current team
- Height: Height in centimeters
- Foot: Dominant foot (Right, Left, or Both)
- Caps: Number of international caps
- Goals: Number of international goals scored
- Attempts: You have 10 attempts maximum to find the player of the day. Use the clues to narrow down your search!
- Objective: Find the player of the day using as few attempts as possible. A new player is available every day at midnight!
Color Code and Clues
The following colors and symbols will help you understand how close you are to the correct answer:
- ✓ Green: Correct clue
- ~ Orange: Close to the correct answer
- ✗ Red: Incorrect clue
- ↑ Up arrow: The value is lower than the correct answer
- ↓ Down arrow: The value is higher than the correct answer
Example
If you guess a player aged 25 and the player of the day is 28 years old, you will see:
Age: 25 ↑ (in orange) - this means the player of the day is older.
If you guess a French player and the player of the day is also French, you will see:
Nationality: France ✓ (in green) - this means it is correct!
Statistics
Your progress is saved automatically! You can track:
- Number of games played
- Win rate (percentage of victories)
- Current streak (number of consecutive days with a win)
- Best streak (your record of consecutive days)
Tips
- Start by guessing players from different nationalities to identify the country
- Use the arrows for numerical values (age, height, caps, goals) to narrow your search
- The position and club are very useful clues to reduce possibilities
- Feel free to explore different player profiles to better understand the clues
Sharing
Once you have found the player of the day, you can share your score on social media! Show your friends how many attempts it took you.
